Morgan Crowley has had a diverse career across five continents in every genre of entertainment.   Born in Dublin, his early classical music education at the College of Music, Royal Irish Academy and Trinity College Dublin was followed by further training in London, Switzerland and New York.

Quickly emerging on to the professional platform as a performer, his work in concert, theatre, opera, oratorio and radio/television won unanimous critical acclaim in venues which have included Royal Opera Covent Garden, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, National Theatre London, Abbey Theatre Dublin, the Vatican and most of Europe’s great concert halls and cathedrals. He has also enjoyed treading the boards of West End and Broadway theatres and a spell in Hollywood.

Winning the John McCormack award as a teenager (youngest-ever competitor) kick-started a series of accolades which have included Luciano Pavarotti Award, International Voice of Musical Theatre nomination, Evening Standard Critics Choice Award and a starring role in an Olivier-winning West End show, also appearing on a Grammy-winning CD, Tony Award winning musical and the stage version of an Oscar-winning film.

Some of these credits include Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, Cirque du Soleil, Riverdance, Orfeo, Die Zauberflote, Pinocchio, Candide, Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Dido & Aeneas, Carmen, The Dead, Prometheus, Messiah, Vikings and roles in several world premieres.

As a Director/Composer/Arranger he is much sought-after, having now directed almost 100 operas, stage plays, several international choirs and had music performed around the world by groups as diverse as The Kings Singers and The Wiggles! His educational initiatives include work with U2’s Music Generation, Sing Ireland, creating third-level courses in the Performing Arts, international workshop developments, masterclasses and lecturing in Music, English, Drama Studies and Singing (Vocal Technique) around the world.
