We are always interested in hearing from potential new members. Men and women of all ages are welcome to apply.
If you are interested in joining, why not come hear us at one of our upcoming events or contact us to audition.
Informal auditions are held before a rehearsal. You will be asked to sing a song, or a short piece of music of your own choice, followed by some simple pitch, rhythm and range tests.
You don’t need to be able to read music to audition, but if you are successful in joining the choir this is something you will pick up over time.
Our Musical Director, uses vocal exercises as part of our rehearsal process.
The ability to read music is not essential as Morgan incorporates the rudiments of reading music into our rehearsals.
Having a musically literate choir means we can practice more efficiently, so choir members are encouraged to learn to read music.
Once accepted, all members are expected to attend our regular rehearsals and to do some preparatory work on the current repertoire between rehearsals.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at 8pm in St. John the Baptist church, 15 Seafield Rd W, Clontarf East, Dublin, D03 NX77
There is parking on street outside the church.
